Payless Shoes

I have been slacking off lately, but did run across these shoes yesterday and knew I had to share them as some of my newest favorite things.

How cute are these??!

And these?!

And don't be jealous, but I gave in and got these for myself yesterday. I tried them on, and even with my pre-pedicured feet, they still looked adorable!

Rice Krispy Treats

I always forget how much I love these until I'm reminded by seeing the recipe on a box of cereal or in a book.

I found this recipe at Family Fun and it's perfect for Valentine's Day!

Sweet Heart Krispy Treats

*cooking spray
*3 tbsp. margarine
*6 cups mini marshmallows
*red food coloring
*9 cups Rice Krispies cereal
*heart shaped cookie cutter
*plastic bags, yarn or ribbon

Step 1:
To begin, lightly coat a 10X15 inch baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside

Step 2:
Melt the margarine in a large pot over low heat. Add the marshmallows, stirring them continuously until they melt. Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in drops of red food coloring until the color receives a thumbs-up from the chef.

Step 3:
Add the Rice Krispies, stirring until they are evenly coated with marshmallow. Spoon the mixture onto the baking sheet.

Step 4:
With waxed paper (or lightly buttered hands), smooth out mixture, spreading it to an even thickness.

Step 5:
Cut out hearts with the cookie cutter. Place each heart in a clear plastic bag, tie on a bow, and they're ready for giving.

Makes seven 5-inch hearts.

Target for Kids

I am a little obsessed with Target lately. They are having a sale on their spring dresses just to mess with me. And with the weather in the upper 70's, it's like it is some sort of conspiracy.

So I had to get this dress for the girls (which is so much cuter in person). $12 for BOTH dresses! Then somehow I ended up in the shoe department and found these for Allison. It was almost too much to handle in one day.

I love Target's clothes for kids. I should probably ban myself from the store for a while.

Ann Taylor Loft Flip-Flops

I think we can all agree that this is truly meant to be. I WILL be getting these shoes . Maybe seeing them in my closet will help make it feel like springtime is just a little closer.

They are adorable with the little bow, and how can I deny that they were meant for me when the shoes themselves are named "Allie"!

Kid to Kid

I found the cutest dress for Allison's 18 month pictures at Kid to Kid! It's a lavender Baby Lulu dress in perfect condition. I paid $10 for it.

You have to really search, but if you go on a good day, you can find some GREAT clothes for your kids!

Summer Sandals

Even though my feet are nowhere near ready, I find myself glancing at the spring/summer shoes every time we go to Target.

Today I found these. I absolutely must have them at some point between now and summer. Too cute for words.

And when I asked Lauryn's opinion, she said she liked them. But not too much. Because they were too fancy.

I guess maybe that's a sign I should step it up in the fashion department, huh?

Movie Theaters

I saw not one, but TWO movies this weekend! On Friday night my friends Stefany, Lisa, and I had a girls' night and saw P.S. I Love You. Then my sister and I saw 27 Dresses last night. I had forgotten how fun it is to watch a movie in a theater!

And both movies were great for different reasons. I would highly recommend them. Or maybe they were so good because of the fact that I didn't have to pause the movie several times to attend to any small children.
